Celebrate your wins

We can be so focused on the next thing that we forget to take a moment to appreciate the journey.
Istanbul April 2nd, 2024

My final days in Istanbul have arrived. Two more sleeps and I’ll be back in Europe. But only for a little while before I take-off again to another far away destination. But before we dive into that, let’s wrap-up the first quarter of 2024.

This is how I roll these days, in sprints of 3 months. Each quarter I have a specific country, a specific focus and a few deliverables on the radar. I am actively creating my life, leaving enough space for serendipity, unexpected events and surprises.

And that is what I love about my life. Even though I have a clear focus and a plan, I also have a level of trust to allow life to unfold. I don’t need to be neurotic, or have everything mapped out. I just need to take it one step at a time, trusting that what I want, wants me back and show-up in a way that invites all the good stuff.

It took me a while to get to that mindset. But luckily I have developed a system. One that I am teaching others. I guess this is the fruits of my labour, reading daily and practicing solitude, instead of endless scrolling through my phone or watching netflix. Because the science behind it is simple:

Whatever it is you seek, you need to cultivate habits and create an environment that is enabling that.

So what’s new?

My intention for coming to Turkey was simple: Get the foundations right so that you can scale. So, for the past 2 months, I worked on an upgraded website, new projects and finished with a new product on the horizon.

My private practice is now fully automated. People can book their sessions online, pay online and use an app as well as a desktop, to join their sessions. All my sessions are recorded and automatically uploaded onto their private dashboard. This is a high tech investment and it is only the start of it.

The one thing that I love most about my business is teaching. And after a two year break, I miss being on stage. It’s time to take “Becoming Unstoppable” back to corporate, start-ups and schools. With a new and improved eagerness to inspire and educate big groups, I’m working on my comeback. And what better place to start than in South Africa!

In just two weeks I will fly to Cape Town and stay for 6 weeks, already being welcomed with open arms and tons of curiosity! And I have you guys to thank for that! Since I work with 23 different nationalities, spread over 4 different continents, working in 3 different languages I can say I have a global network.

So I’ve reached-out to a few people who I know from South Africa, and within just 48h I received numerous contact details and people to approach so that I can work on my comeback with my masterclass “Becoming Unstoppable”.

My masterclasses are full of scientific nuggets and practical tools. It is not a quick fix or “let me teach you some tricks” but a solid deep dive in just 90 minutes or more. Occasionally, people still reach-out to let me know how my masterclass “becoming unstoppable” has changed their lives. So, I have added a proper speakers page to my website.

Some have found the courage to take those first steps in therapy, knowing the dynamics of the brain. Others have quit their jobs and built up the courage to pursue their dreams because they learned how to navigate their emotions better. And others have mastered the skill of relationships because they started working on their own patterns.

It’s stories like this that keep me going.

And that’s not all. For those who follow me on social media might have noticed my face a bit more. Around the time of my birthday, I was challenged by my friends to show-up online daily, sharing little nuggets to help them in life. And I have been consistent since.

You can’t have an online business and not have an online presence. So I am experimenting in finding a format and a channel that works best for me. And because I’m getting better at managing my time, I am also spending more time reading, writing and creating.

Writing a weekly letter has become easy. So I have decided to stretch myself a bit and to add regular articles on my topics of expertise: the brain, resilience and emotions. You will be able to find them all in my new and improved blogpage. So as for wrapping-up the first 3 months of 2024, I am congratulating myself.

It’s important to celebrate your wins. We don’t do that enough. We can be so focused on the next thing that we forget to take a moment to appreciate the journey, the people and the efforts we have put in.

So, take some time today to celebrate your wins. However big or small they are. Life will always show you the way. Whether it is through the people you meet, through rejection as an invitation to change course or through “coincidences”. You just need to create space so that you can listen to your heart and follow your inner compass.

Another amazing thing about life is that when you ask, you will receive. Granted, you might have some challenges along the way, but as mentioned last week, never stop trusting yourself and your desires! They are what make you uniquely you! Trust that.

See you again next week! And do let me know your thoughts.

With love

Ines
